For us housing is an important need and a safe place to call home makes for a better world for us all. To that end, the Barrentine Group is proud to be a partner with PATH/People Assisting The Homeless and we encourage everyone to become involved in working toward viable solutions to ease our nation’s and certainly our local communities’ homeless crisis.

In the last few years, PATH has housed thousands of families and individuals and in 2020 served almost 20% of California’s homeless population. From walk-in services to permanent housing solutions, PATH and the Barrentine Group are dedicated to making a difference in our communities.

What we love about PATH is the myriad of ways in which we all may become involved. On an individual basis, one may take clothing suitable for a job search to their amazing mall on Madison Ave in East Hollywood or volunteer to work at the center. As a group there are opportunities to make meals for homeless veterans in their residential center, or volunteer for one of their great programs like “Making It Home”. We can’t express how rewarding it was for us to collect furniture and then to furnish an apartment for a family that had experienced homelessness for six months. What a great holiday experience for our team as we took holiday decorations along to the move-in for that single mother of three.

And, of course, there is the ever welcome donation opportunity. Throughout the year, the Barrentine Group donates $250 for every transaction closed and so over the years that has given us the opportunity to give in excess of $50,000 to help end homelessness. We cherish the opportunity to help create a steady stream of income for PATH programs in its fine mission.
